Northwest Arkansas has become a world-class biking and hiking destination and the scenic trails in Bella Vista are a high point. Blowing Springs Park has over 6 miles of trails. One of the trails highlights is a 30-foot bridge with a rock shelf connecting to the trail below that winds around to a natural air-conditioned cavern, which releases 60-degree air. New in 2021 is the Blowing Springs Greenway, a three mile paved trail leading from Metfield Park to the current northern portion of the Razorback Regional Greenway.
The Back 40 trail features approximately 40 miles of backwoods soft surfaced rolling trails for mountain biking on the east side of Bella Vista. The trails in Bella Vista were designed and constructed primarily for mountain biking, although use of the trails for hiking is permitted. Multiple trailheads and places to park are offered. The Lake Bella Vista Walking Trail is a great choice for families living in the southern portion of Bella Vista. The 1.75-mile paved trail is level and loops around Lake Bella Vista. The trail, which is ideal for walking, running and biking, offers playground equipment, and ample parking; it connects to the Razorback Regional Greenway.
