After weeks of anticipation, Bella Vista POA fitness equipment has been moved to the large room most recently utilized by the POA Member Services Department in the Metfield Clubhouse, 3 Euston Rd. The new location is ready for use by our members and guests six days per week. Monday through Thursday the center is open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday hours are 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and Saturday the center is open from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The Clubhouse is not open on Sundays. Stop by and check it out soon! A few additional fitness machines are expected to be added in the next several weeks.

With the move of fitness equipment, the Dogwood Room is now available for member’s use for fitness classes, card and game groups and also for rent for a private party, club gathering or meeting. Please call the Metfield Clubhouse at telephone number (479) 855-8165 to inquire about reservation availabilities.

Don’t forget about the annual Easter Egg Hunt to be held at the Kingsdale Complex (by Riordan Hall) on Saturday, March 26 starting promptly at 10:00 a.m. All children age 12 and under are invited to participate in this fun-filled event. Bring your children and grandchildren with their baskets for the egg hunt and a visit and picture with the Easter Bunny. At the time of this writing a few tickets remain for the children’s carnival inside Riordan Hall right after the egg hunt. Auditorium space limits the number of carnival tickets that can be given out to POA members’ children and grandchildren. Please telephone Riordan Hall at (479) 855-8170 to inquire about the availability of tickets for children age 12 and under. In the event the carnival ticket supply has been diminished, please ask that your name be put on a waiting list for potential tickets that may have been returned. Remember, no tickets are required for the EasterEgg hunt held outdoors and is always a good time for children and Mom and Dad, too!

Events the POA Recreation Division look forward to during the next several weeks include the very popular and fun “Blossoms and Bows” event at the Bella Vista Library, 11 Dickens Place, scheduled on Saturday, May 7 from 10:00 a.m. until noon. Children will have the opportunity to plant and decorate something special for mom this Mother’s Day at the annual Blossoms & Bows event. The free event is sponsored by the Bella Vista Village Property Owners Association and the library. Those on hand will be able to decorate a flower pot and make Mother’s Day cards inside the library.
