On Wednesday, June 22, a small core aeration will be done on several problem greens at Country Club. The greens impacted will be number 2, 3 and 8 which were covered with silt during the December flood and number 11 and 18 which are having issues with Fairy Ring. This process involves utilizing quarter inch tines to remove smallcores, removal of cores from the surface and rolling to smooth the surface. This work will start at 6AM and be completed prior to play.
Removal of these small cores will open up the surface resulting in better air/water/nutrient movement throughout the profile resulting in healthier turf.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
