New Cycling Class Coming to Metfield

Mon, October 5, 2015 | Recreation

The Bella Vista Village POA will introduce a new fitness class never offered before in our Recreation facilities. This class will appeal to both men and women.

Intro to Indoor Cycling class will be held each Tuesday and Thursday morning starting at 9:00am at the Metfield Clubhouse Fitness Center beginning Tuesday, October 13th. Each class will be 30 minutes long.

Indoor cycling (spinning class) is a great total body workout. The class instructor guides participants through various cycling routines to keep things interesting while toning and strengthening a variety of muscles. Because this class is considered a low-impact exercise, it doesn’t put pressure on your joints the way aerobics, running and other high-impact programs can. A huge benefit of cycling is that just about anyone can do it. Cycling can offer an intensive workout for the body’s core.

Intro to Indoor Cycling class will start slowly and will be 30 minutes in duration. Just one of the many benefits of indoor cycling is that each class is led by a certified instructor that keeps participants motivated, while giving tips on how to get the most out of the workout.

Try your first class free if you have a current POA photo ID! Pay just $2.25 facility use fee if you do not have a current POA photo ID card.

The cost to participate in Intro to Indoor Cycling after the initial trial class is only $2.00 for individual classes along with your current POA issued photo ID card. Or, a 4-class punch card can be purchased for $6.00; if you do not have a POA issued photo ID an additional $2.25 fee is charged per visit to cover facility use fees.

Call the Metfield Clubhouse recreation desk today to register for Intro to Indoor Cycling class, as a limited number of bikes are available at this time: (479) 855-8165.
