The Bella Vista Foundation, the City of Bella Vista Arts Council, and the Bella Vista POA are announcing the first annual, Bella Vista Hot-Dam Blues Festival. On Sunday, July 3, at Loch Lomond Recreation Complex, the festival will begin at 5 p.m. with live music and will end at 9 p.m., with the The City of Bella Vista’s annual 4th of July fireworks demonstration. “I am very excited to be part of this inaugural annual event,” said Tommy Lee, Bella Vista POA Director of Business Development. “The Bella Vista Foundation and all others involved have set up a fantastic event for this community.”
Three great Northwest Arkansas bands will perform: Jim Mills and the Hellbenders, Joe Giles and the Homewreckers, and The Cate Brothers. Admission and parking are free. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase from five local food trucks.
Parking for the Hot Dam Blues event will be available on the Scotsdale Golf Course – near the Loch Lomond Dam. This is not the parking lot at the Scotsdale clubhouse.
Please note that shuttle service will no longer be provided due to this convenient parking location.
Spectators are asked to bring nonperishable, canned food items for donation to the Oasis food pantry in Bella Vista. “This event is a great example of cooperation between the City, POA and Foundation,” said Dave Barfield, Committee Chairman. “I am hopeful that we can grow this event and have other events like this throughout the year.” Persons interested in volunteering to help with the festival can contact Deb Sorensen at (479) 855-7633.
