Association committees assist in planning, problem-solving, and making recommendations to the Association administration and the Association Board of Directors. Committee matters can originate from within the committee, suggested by the Board or management, or initiated by members. The primary goal of all committees is to represent the interests of the membership in the governance and administration of the Association.
Property owners serving on the Board of Directors are unpaid volunteers. Members of our committees are also unpaid volunteers.
Joint Advisory Committee (Golf, Lakes, and Recreation) meetings are open to Association members and press representatives. These meetings are also livestreamed, and videos of the sessions are stored on the Associationโs website. Committee agendas and minutes are also available on the Associationโs website. Policy 1.04 explains in detail the role and responsibilities of the Joint Advisory Committees.
In accordance with Policy 1.07, member comments/questions may be emailed no later than 24 hours before the start of each meeting to the Corporate Secretary.
Golf Committee
The Golf Committee is a Joint Advisory Committee that provides advice and recommendations on golfing operations and maintenance. Committee members are assigned a golf course to review monthly.
The committee meets at 4:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the Country Club.

Charitable Giving Committee
The Association receives many requests for donations each year from charitable organizations. To establish a fair and equitable procedure for considering such requests, the Charitable Giving Committee was created to establish a consistent framework for evaluating and awarding charitable grants.ย Policy 1.03.4 explains in detail the operation of the Charitable Giving Committee.

Election Committee
The Election Committee serves as an independent resource for the election of members of the Board of Directors and for assessment votes. The Election Committee oversees the administration of all Association votes, with an emphasis on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the process. Often, the Election Committee will utilize an independent third party to conduct the vote and tabulate the results. Policy 1.03.2 explains in detail the Election Committee.

Audit Committee
The primary role of the Audit Committee is to conduct a detailed review of a draft version of the annual audit and recommend to the Board of Directors to either accept or reject the audit. The Audit Committee is made up of members of the Board of Directors. When appropriate, the Audit Committee is also integrally involved in the research, interview, and recommendation to the Board of Directors of a new audit firm. Policy 1.03.1 explains in detail the Audit Committee.
The committee typically meets in the spring to review a draft copy of the annual audit report. Other meetings occur on an ad hoc basis.
