About the Bella Vista Architectural Control Committee (ACC)

The mission of the Bella Vista Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is to preserve and enhance the beauty, character, and value of the Bella Vista community by ensuring compliance with the Bella Vista Declaration and Protective Covenants, as well as the policies and procedures established by BVACC, Inc. As part of a planned recreational community, the ACC reviews proposed property improvements to help maintain the community’s architectural standards while protecting property values.

Governance

The ACC is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the Election Committee. The Board is responsible for establishing policies, overseeing the administration of the ACC, maintaining its financial health, and providing strategic direction. The Board also oversees the review and approval process for property improvements in accordance with the governing documents.

Board members serve staggered multi-year terms and hold regular public meetings to conduct ACC business and receive input from property owners.

Committees

The ACC utilizes standing and ad hoc committees to assist the Board in carrying out its responsibilities. These committees research, review, and make recommendations on matters within their assigned areas and are composed primarily of Board members and volunteers as provided by ACC policies.

Property Owner Participation

Bella Vista property owners are encouraged to become involved in the ACC through committee service and public participation. Committee appointments, responsibilities, and terms are established by the Board and the ACC’s governing documents.
