The Bella Vista Water
Department publishes an annual consumer confidence report that
is compiled from the Arkansas Department of Health official
records based on the department’s routine water sampling and
testing results. Each year, a copy of this report is mailed with
the customer’s water bill. State and federal rules require 30
water samples to be collected monthly and tested by the Arkansas
Department of Health laboratory in Little Rock. The samples are
collected from established sampling points throughout the entire
water distribution system.
The potable water delivered by the Bella Vista POA’s Water
Department contains fluoride at the levels suggested by federal
and state health agencies.
