Bella Vista Services

Bulky item pickup: Residents are allowed one “bulky” item pickup per week. The free service will occur on their regular service day. This allows residents to dispose of items in a timely manner, as opposed to holding onto them until an annual cleanup. The items in which Allied Waste will pick up include: household furniture (mattresses, couches, chairs, dressers and tables), general items (bikes, grills, lawn mowers, aluminum lawn chairs, metal lawn furniture, tools, etc) and electronics (computers, printers, televisions, radios, microwaves, VCR’s, etc).

White Goods Pickup: Allied Waste Services of Bella Vista offers street side “white goods,” or appliances, collection free of charge two times a year. The dates will be scheduled by Allied Waste and released in advance, so each resident has an opportunity to sign up for this event. All items must be Freon-free. If residents choose to dispose of these items throughout the year, AWS of Bella Vista accepts items during the week at the local transfer station. However, there is a fee to dispose of items at the transfer station, which is located off of U.S. 71, just south of the Missouri border.

Recycling Program: AWS of Bella Vista offers a free recycling program to Bella Vista residents. Unlimited recycling is picked up one-time per month on the second full week of each month. However, residents must subscribe to the service. Allied Waste of Bella Vista encourages each resident to participate in recycling. The company believes that recycling is essential to prolong the life of landfills and preserve natural resources. For details or to subscribe, call (479) 855-4226.

Yard Waste Program: Allied Waste Services of Bella Vista offers a subscription yard waste program to all residents. The yard waste collection program runs from April 1 through Nov. 30. Each participant will be provided with a 96-gallon poly-cart that will be picked up one-time a week. To subscribe and for more information, including rates, call (479) 855-4226.
