The Bella Vista Village Property Owners Association offers
20
ways to stay on top of Bella Vista news and events. They are:
1) Website
–
www.BellaVistaPOA.com. The POA website was
redesigned in 2008 in an effort to make it more user friendly
and efficient, as well as to make it a stronger marketing tool.
The association’s website provides the latest village
information and answers frequently asked questions. The website
offers a search engine that allows visitors to find topics of
interest.

Facebook.
The association introduced its Facebook page in June 2011.
The social networking site is used daily for posting stories,
photos, upcoming events, breaking news, questions, polls, etc.

The Village Voice. The
national award-winning publication – ranging from 32 to 48 pages
– is mailed bimonthly to more than 25,000 property owners as
part of their membership privileges. Past and current copies are

Insights. A six-page
newsletter sent each month to all Bella Vista Village water
customers, along with their water bill. Insights reaches

Foresight.
An electronic newsletter sent each week to resident and
nonresident subscribers. The e-mail, which is free and available
upon request, contains news items and a calendar of events for

POA Update. A free, e-mail
blast sent periodically to subscribers, whenever the association
has news to release, which could be several times each week. The
e-mail contains news about all facets of life in Bella Vista

Golf Update. A free, weekly golf e-mail sent each
Friday, upon request, to resident and nonresident subscribers.

8) Lake E-mails. A
free e-mail sent to subscribers by the Lakes Department whenever
something newsworthy is occurring on or around the lakes. To

Recreation E-mail. A free
e-mail sent to subscribers by the Recreation Division whenever
something newsworthy is occurring within the village’s
recreational facilities, such as closures, cancellations or new

Public Meetings.
The dates and locations of all Board and joint advisory
committee meetings are available on the website’s calendar of

11) News
Releases. News releases are distributed to local
media outlets, staff and Board members. They also are
immediately posted on the POA’s website and Facebook page for
public viewing and released in the electronic newsletters.

Brochures.
Numerous brochures – promoting the amenities and services
provided by the association – are displayed and made available
for members and their guests at facilities throughout the
village, including our recreation centers, clubhouses, golf
shops, marina, gun range, RV Park, water billing office and the
Membership Services Department.
13)
Flyers/Posters.
Flyers and posters are created and distributed throughout
the community to promote and advertise upcoming events.

17) Speaking Engagements.
Members of our staff frequently meet with civic and community
groups to discuss issues impacting Bella Vista Village.
18) Bella Vista Community Television
(Ch. 222). The association’s monthly Board meetings
air on Ch.222. In addition, members of our staff are interviewed
monthly about events and activities occurring within Bella Vista

19) Bella Vista Library. POA
monthly meeting minutes, general manager reports, treasurer’s
reports and the annual audit reports are available at the
library for public copying and viewing.
20) Advertisements. In local
papers and on TV, as well as the association’s website and
publications help promote village events, programs and
activities.
