Meeting was called to order at 10:00am.

Minutes of the May meeting were approved as written.

OLD/NEW BUSINESS

Tom Wooters and Bill Davis will be on the “Know your POA” television show on Channel 16 in July.

Discussion- What outlets to use to and subjects to cover to get information to the general public when the report is finished. It was decided to try to get a series in the Weekly Vista and Channel 16. Also check to see if we could get coverage on the POA website. Evelyn Espe will contact all the people to get this set up.

Discussion- On putting together the final report to be presented to the POA.

Discussion- What categories does the committee want to cover in the final report.
Tom Wooters suggested the following categories
1. Lake Buffers
2. Substance Usage
3. Septic Tanks
4. Ditches and Drainage
5. Water Conservation
Pat Larkey brought up the subject of air quality and how we can find information.

Tom Wooters passed out information on “Maintaining Your Septic System” published by the NESC.

An article on “Easy Do’s & Don’ts for Lakeshore Users” was also distributed.
Evelyn Espe will contact Roberta Dale to see if there is anyone who has expressed interest in joining the committee as we are now down to 3 members.

Evelyn Espe will also contact Mark Bray and Bob Santos of the Master Gardeners concerning speakers when the time comes.
