There have been additional informational pieces regarding
protection of our water supply like the one noted on Dec. 17,

to get the message to the water consumers regarding the
importance of this issue.
Sally Carroll distributed a printing report of the Village Voice
to update the committee regarding where the voice has been since
Jan. 2001, what is involved in upgrading, the costs, as well as
recommendations.
The committee requested the February issue include the public
forum educational information prepared for the Dec.1, Country
Club Forum for local members.

issues as well as the format regarding board candidates.
A motion passed for Ms Attlesey to discuss with the GM more
advertising and more support from division heads. The committee
agreed to wait until next year to reconsider improving the paper
quality for the 2010 budget. The committee thought it was too
late in the 2009 budget process to make the change. The
committee also challenged the staff to explore ways to quantify
the effectiveness of the publication. It is agreed the Voice is
important to non-resident members, but no one knows how many of
the non-residents actually read the publication.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:45 am. The next meeting is
scheduled for Feb 16 at 10:00 am due to travel of the Chair in
Jan. 2009
